MAKING A PURCHASE
We supply goods through our online shop (www.needbatteries.co.uk), you may also contact us by phone, where our agents will be happy to take your order.
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our online catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
We can accept most major credit & switch card payment and we do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card via the website or phone if preferred.
For security reasons please do not send credit card details by email.
Every effort is made to advertise correct prices and specifications, but these may be subject to change without notice. Should this situation arise we will contact the customer and advise accordingly.

SHIPPING, HANDLING AND DELIVERY
Our standard shipping and handling costs are from 79p to £3.99 (depending on weight).
Orders will be dispatched within 48 hours (we aim to dispatch within 24hours) from receipt of order. Deliveries should be received within 2-3 working days of dispatch. Please ensure that someone is available to receive larger orders (parcels).
BACK ORDERS
We always aim to carry stock of all items displayed in our online shop. If your item is not in stock, we will put it on back order for you and then dispatch it when it arrives. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
TAX CHARGES
For all orders, 15% VAT is included in the price displayed. Tax will be shown separately on your invoice.
CREDIT CARD SECURITY
All credit card numbers are encrypted at the time the order is placed using high security 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our secure order system. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
GUARANTEE
We guarantee your satisfaction and we will replace or rectify any goods proven defective. No liability for direct or consequential loss or damage will be accepted, Our liability regarding proven claims is limited to the invoice value of the defective goods. Our liability does not apply to goods opened / tampered with by the buyer or his agents.
This does not affect consumers' statutory rights.
PRIVACY POLICY
We do not disclose buyers' information to third parties.
RETURNS POLICY
Any returned products ordered in error or are not required will, if returned unopened within 28 days from date of from us be subject to a full refund less shipping charges. Returned products must be unopened and in original product packaging. Contact us for details of how to make a return.
If for whatever reason you are not satisfied with any goods purchased from our site including faulty goods we will refund your money in full excluding any postage and packing costs. You the consumer can cancel your order from the date of the contract and up to 7 working days starting from the day after the goods are received. A refund subject to the above statement will be given.
Our returns policy abides by the 'The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. All shipping and handling costs to return, non-defective goods are to be paid by the customer.
